BABY DEDICATION CLASS | 11.13
Dedications will take place on Sunday, November 27, during both services. If you would like to dedicate your child, sign up on the Connection Card and plan to attend the preparation class on Sunday, November 13 at 11am in the Fireside Room.


STUDENT MINISTRY

  • ANCHORED High School Ministry
    • Here4You Service Project | 11.5
      High School will be partnering with “Here4You” (Widow/Widowers Ministry) by providing house work & yard from 8:30am-12pm. Meet in The Hall at 8:30am before heading to the different sites to serve. Food will be provided!
    • Girl’s Night: Operation Christmas Child | 11.11, 4PM – 8PM
      Come pack shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child and enjoy dinner and a movie afterwards. Bring $20 to cover the cost of the boxes and supplies. Meet at the Diggins’. Contact Rachel@vc.church for more info or to RSVP.
    • Progressive Dinner | 11.17
      High School Ministry will be partaking in a progressive dinner on Wednesday, 11.17 from 6:30-9:00pm. Students are encouraged to dress up semi-formal and bring a dessert to share with their small group. Hope to see you there!

CHRISTMAS 2016

  • CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS CHOIR | Starts Today!
    Calling all elementary students! Children’s Christmas choir starts today between services from 10:30-10:50am in room B212. They will practice every Sunday with the final performance on Sunday, December 4th. For more information contact Katie Baker at misskatiesmusic@gmail.com.
  • VCC CHRISTMAS CHOIR | Starts 11.19
    Tis’ the season…for the VCC Christmas Choir! If you would like to sing in the choir for a special performance on the 18th of December please visit valleycommunity.church/choir and fill out the form. (If you do not have access to a computer there will be a signup sheet available in the church foyer, but please fill out the online form if you are able.) Choir admissions will be closed on 11.11.16. Rehearsals will be 4 Saturdays from 11.19-12.10 from 9am-12-pm.

THANKSGIVING 2016

  • “A THANKFUL PEOPLE” | 11.23 at 6:33pm
    Join us for our annual Thanksgiving Eve service, “A Thankful People.” If you’re not traveling, we’d love to have you join us as we start the Thanksgiving holiday with a time together giving thanks to God who has given us so much. Childcare will be available for 0-5 years.

GIVING OPPORTUNITIES

  • OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD | DUE  11.13
    Make Christmas special for a child by filling a shoebox. Brochures are available in the office and at the Bar in the Foyer with directions for filling and providing postage. This is a great project to do with your children or comGroup.
  • THANKSGIVING MEALS | 11.10
    We are collecting items to make Thanksgiving dinner bags for approximately 50 struggling families. Donations needed by Thursday, 11.10. A list of items at ValleyCommunity.Church under News & Events. Someone to coordinate bag assembling on 11.12 and someone to drop off completed bags are needed.
  • THE GIVING WALL | 11.13
    Spread joy by providing gifts for local families in need. The wall with tags will be in the lobby on 11.13, wrapped gifts are due back to the church office by Sunday, 12.11. To help with distribution, contact jlorentz@comcast.net.
