Prayer and Journaling Workshops
5.14.24 - 6.18.24
Come and explore how understanding and using the poetic devices found in the Psalms can add depth and meaning to your own prayers. The Psalms not only provide God’s people with prayers to pray, but also with beautiful models for how to compose our own petitions and praises. The Psalms teach us how to pray to God through the darkness and how to thank Him for the light.
Ellen Gray will be facilitating six prayer and journaling workshops rooted in reading and responding to the poetic devices encountered in the Psalms. Each class examines different poetic tools found in the Psalms and provides examples and practice exercises for going deeper in your own prayers.
You may attend individual workshops or all six. Workshops will be held Tuesday mornings from 5.14 to 6.18 from 9:30AM to 11AM in the seminar room. Childcare will not offered for this class.

THE WELL: MEET & GATHER

This evening is designed especially for women to come together, reconnect, and cultivate new friendships in a warm community setting. Take this opportunity to slow down, reflect on God’s word, and savor delicious lite bites and desserts as we embrace an unhurried approach to fellowship. Let's enter the summer season with a sense of rest and connection.
MOMS PRAYER GROUP
Moms of teens, this life can be so busy and lonely that we forget God gives us community! Join other moms each month on the third Wednesday, 7PM-9PM, as we pray for one another and for our kids. Email lilian@vc.church if you have any questions or if you'd like to join.
